Edgar Everyone is the solo project of veteran independent musician, producer, and recording engineer, Jules de Gasperis. In recent years he has made a name for himself as a member of prominent indie bands like Kunzite and Low Hum, and in the studio with acts like Geographer and others. He debuted as Edgar in 2019 with the single “Look Up”.
The prolific Los Angeles-based recording artist has produced a half-dozen follow-up singles since dropping that debut. Earlier this year he had an underground hit with the disco-infused “Who’s the Dreamer”. The Edgar Everyone sound is an experimental mix of indie-rock, EDM, and pop vibes.
“Time is a nonlinear joke” is the brand new single from Edgar Everyone, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 23, 2023. After a lo-fi psychedelic intro, the groove lands on a cool hybrid organic and electronic mid-tempo minor-key funk. On the mic, the singer delivers a cinematic and soulful meditation on the fluid nature of time and reality.
