Tonio F is a veteran international songwriter and musician who is making his professional recording debut in 2023. The otherwise anonymous producer has been making music privately for over a decade. Last week, the elusive artist dropped his first publicly available single.
The multifaceted creator cites a long list of hard and progressive rock artists as inspiration. However, although Tonio F’s music is influenced by artists like Tool, Faith No More, and Alice in Chains, the eclectic composer’s own sound is a bit more nuanced than that. He’s launching his new recording project with some introspective Latin-infused pop.
“Blindfold” is the debut single from Tonio F, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 21, 2023. The track opens on a percussive, conga and piano vibe. Guest vocalist Zorra steps to the mic as an ensemble of piano, bass, guitar and drums joins the mix with a laid-back syncopated groove. The singer delivers an philosophical and soulful song about following our dreams and connecting with one’s inner child.
