DJ 909 is the brand new solo project from an otherwise anonymous veteran independent electronic music producer. For a number of years he has run a popular YouTube channel featuring his music. Now, after more than a decade of writing and recording original material, the US-based DJ is dropping his debut single.
Although this is DJ 909’s wide-distribution debut, his musical credentials go way back. In addition to his own prolific video output, the emerging producer comes from a long line of music industry professionals. With his debut single, he hopes to reach an international audience.
“LET’S GO GO GO GO DJ” is the brand new single from DJ 909, released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 22, 2023. An announcer introduces the track as the beat falls on a syncopated marimba rhythm. As the song progresses, the eclectic DJ mixes elements of drum & bass, breakbeat, and jungle with a healthy dose of psychedelia for a unique dance floor vibe.
