Vontaemadeit is the professional name of emerging independent hip-hop recording artist, Delvontaé Talley-Murry. He made his professional solo recording debut in 2020 with the single “Brink of Break ”. That track introduced a talented young songwriter and rapper with a laid-back vibe and a verbose lyrical style.
Since his debut, the prolific emcee has released over a dozen singles. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Vontaemadeit has connected with fans worldwide on popular tracks like “Case” and “Never Played”. He also runs a popular YouTube channel, on which he engages directly with fans and gives some insight to his life behind the scenes.
“What I Want” is a recent single from Vontaemadeit, with a brand new video released worldwide via YouTube on October 7, 2023. A melancholy solo piano opens the track on a bed of ambient synths. Soon the beat drops on a chill 808 slow jam groove as the rapper steps to the mic for a soulful long distance hip-hop love song.
