We first heard from Frank Zozky in November of last year, upon the release of his single “Getaway“. That track introduced readers of The Static Dive to an eclectic and wildly creative songwriter and producer with a genre-bending sound. He is a remarkably prolific producer who has released hundreds of songs since he dropped his first tracks on SoundCloud over five years ago.
The Bronx-based musician is on fire in 2023, with nearly three dozen singles under his belt already. His sound is never bound by any particular genre. Frank Zozky’s music ranges in style from disco-infused house grooves, to pop nuggets, punk ragers, and all points between.
“Waste of Time” is a new single and video from Frank Zozky, released worldwide via all major streaming services on October 16, 2023. A power chord rings out as guest vocalist Christian Diana steps to the mic and declares “My parents don’t understand me.” Soon the beat drops on a rocking early-2000 era pop-punk rocker as the singer sheds the weight of jobs, jocks, and girlfriends who have caused him past angst.
