We first heard from Elliott Rubin last year, upon the release of his single “Kentucky Gentleman“. That track introduced The Static Dive readers to a talented songwriter and multi-instrumentalist producer from Georgia with a raw, guitar-fueled sound. The alt-rock renaissance man debuted his unique mix of punk, metal and grunge in 2019 with the album Love & Daggers.
Elliott Rubin is a multifaceted artist who pairs rock & roll energy with philosophical and comedic lyrical twists. In doing so, the intuitive songwriter adds layers of depth to his punk angst. Now readying his sophomore LP, Rubin just dropped his first new music of 2023.
“Declaration” is the brand new single from Elliott Rubin, released worldwide via all major streaming services on October 22, 2023. It is the first single from his forthcoming album Send Hell. The track opens on a jazzy syncopated groove before Elliot steps to the mic and screams “Resurrect the dead!” Soon the beat drops on an alt-metal rocker that pairs Pantera-worthy groove-metal riffs with Rage Against the Machine style angst.
