A Million Little Fires is the brainchild and musical creative vehicle of independent singer-songwriter, Jay Douglas. The project debuted in 2016 with the EP Momentary Relapse. That record introduced a diversely talented singer and band with a genre-fluid sound.
After an extended hiatus, A Million Little Fires recently returned to the studio. The Sanction’d LP dropped in March of this year. The record featured reimagined versions of eleven older Douglas songs. Now back in full swing, A Million Little Fires has new music planned well into next year.
“All I Want” is the brand new single from A Million Little Fires, released worldwide via all major streaming services on November 3, 2023. Out of the gate, the tune rides a driving electro-rock groove. Amid pulsing power chords and synthwave vibes, Jay Douglas steps to the mic. He searches for the lost love who once gave him purpose in this emotional alt-pop power ballad, as the band expertly maneuvers between darkly dreamy verses and anthemic rock choruses.
