Houston-based band Daneka Nation is the creative vehicle of singer-songwriter Rhett Daneka. A Texas native, he launched the project in 2020 with the single “In a Different Light”. That track introduced a former pilot and veteran rocker who recently returned to the music scene after an extended hiatus.
Rhett Daneka worked as a pilot throughout the 1990’s, often in life-saving situations. He caught the singing bug in the 2000s. However, his day job kept him busy until recently. Now that he has gotten his voice to tape, fans around the world are taking notice. Since debuting, Daneka Nation has released nine singles and accumulated over two million streams on Spotify.
“Sacred Ground” is the brand new single from Daneka Nation, released worldwide via all major streaming services on October 27, 2023. A solo piano opens the track as Rhett steps to the mic. He sings a tale of love, betrayal, and the sanctity of marriage. As the song progresses, a full rock & roll ensemble builds the track to an arena-worthy country-tinged modern rock anthem.
