Jeffery Leander is an emerging independent recording artist who is making his professional solo recording debut in 2023. Although he is new to the music scene, the talented young musician has been singing since he could talk. Only recently has he found the confidence to share his voice with the world.
Originally from Indiana, fifteen years ago a restless young Jeffery Leander ran for the West Coast, and has been making his way in the Golden State ever since. After years of procrastinating, he teamed up with LA-based producer Eric Carpenter and finally found his way to a recording studio. He overcame insecurity and a stifling case of imposter syndrome and dropped his debut single this summer.
“You Rescued Me” is the brand new single from Jeffery Leander, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 10, 2023. A solo melancholy piano opens the track as the singer steps to the mic. In a soft and smooth pop tenor he delivers a soulful and heartfelt ode to the lover who helped show him a better life. Ambient synths and strings expand the soundscape as the song builds from a quiet soliloquy to an empowering anthem.
Encouraged by the positive public response to the song, Jeffery Leander has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to produce his debut album. He has already completed a number of demos for the record. With a little help from his friends, the singer hopes to reach out to people around the world.
