Aurora Kush is an emerging independent artist making her solo recording debut in 2023. A native of Memphis, Arkansas, she first started singing as a child in church. Before going solo, the multifaceted singer-songwriter performed in a number of alternative, metal, R&B, and cover bands.
The genre-fluid musician cites a broad range of artists as inspiration, from BB King to Sade, Whitney Houston, My Chemical Romance, and Portishead. In addition to creative work, Aurora Kush is an avid weed advocate and grower. Her new solo project is inspired by her love of both music, and ganja.

Deep ambient keys and a bluesy guitar open the track as the beat drops on a dark downtempo trip-hop beat. On the mic the singer soulfully sings the praises of her favorite herb as dreamy vocal harmonies paint the edges of the mix.
