Keshet Rose is an emerging singer-songwriter making her professional recording debut in 2023. Originally from Oklahoma, she now calls Los Angeles home. Although a lifelong musician, the singer only recently took the leap to songwriting.
In the studio, Keshet Rose works with her guitarist/songwriter husband Liam, a native of Israel and an alumnus of Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music. Along with collaborators like drummer Jason Ganberg and recording engineer/producer Tommy Dietrick, they have crafted a unique sound, weaving together elements of the orchestral 60s pop of Nancy Sinatra, 70s soft rock of The Carpenters, and their modern-day torch-bearers like Lana Del Rey or Kacey Musgraves.
“Dreamland” is the brand new single and title track from the debut EP by Keshet Rose, released worldwide via all major streaming services on November 10, 2023. The dulcet tones of a music box introduce the tune as the singer steps to the mic with a beautiful and tragic tale of love and loss set to a sugary-sweet pop melody and lush cinematic production. The band lays down a dreamy jazz/pop groove as Keshet sings of seeing her lost loved ones in sleep, only to wake and find them gone.
