Daneka Nation Drops New Texas Rock

We first heard from Daneka Nation back in November upon the release of their single “Sacred Ground”. That track introduced The Static Dive readers to singer, songwriter, and recording artist Rhett Daneka. Since debuting in 2020, the Texas-based musician has dropped ten singles and clocked over 2.5 million streams on Spotify.

Before working as a professional musician, Rhett Daneka flew planes. After high school he earned his ATP (Airline Transport License) in less than 5 years. Back then he was known as Richard Bret Hutchins. He worked first as a flight instructor and later as a pilot, flying an air ambulance that transported premature babies from small South Texas towns to Corpus Christi’s state-of-the art facility. However, in the early 2000s he changed his name and and his direction in life, devoting all his energy to music.

“Fight Song” is a recent single from Rhett Daneka, available worldwide via all major streaming services. On the track, the singer reimagines Rachel Platten’s 2016 seismic pop smash as a guitar-fueled, classic-rocker. A wall of guitars backs the singer as he delivers his inspirational anthem.
