speakeazie’s New Noir Synthpop Single & Vid

speakeazie is an emerging independent recording artist who made her professional solo debut in 2022 with the LP Prohibition Hippie. That record introduced a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and classically trained musician with a unique noir pop vibe. Originally from Florida, she moved north from the Sunshine State and now calls the Twin Cities home.

Since releasing her debut album, the prolific speakeazie has released two follow-up EPs and a string of successful singles. She has connected with fans around the world with popular records like last year’s Forsaken Melodies EP. In March she dropped her first new music of 2024.

“Jamie, You’re No Good For Me” is the brand new single from speakeazie, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 15, 2024. An electric guitar opens the track with a minor-key chord progression in an expansive soundscape. Ambient clouds float on the horizon as the beat drops on a driving dark synth-pop groove. On the mic, the singer delivers a soulful and haunting letter to her partner in a dysfunctional affair.
