Goliath Debut With New Vivere EP

Goliath is an emerging independent alternative rock band from Lombard, Illinois. The guitar-fueled ensemble dropped their debut EP this month. That record introduced a quartet of rockers from the midwest with a sound built on the shoulders of rock & roll giants.

The members of Goliath are composer, producer, and guitarist Zaeem Husain, lyricist and vocalist Alex Hamilton, bassist Marcin Palider, and drummer Nikola Dusmanic (drums). Together, they create a dark and introspective alt-rock vibe inspired by the legends of grunge and classic rock, like Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Tool, Beatles, and Soundgarden. They also cite the inspiration of video games like Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy, Elden Ring, and Metal Gear Solid.

Vivere is the brand new EP from Goliath, released worldwide via all major streaming services on April 5, 2024. The three-song set opens with the dark minor-key guitar intro of “False Perspective”. Soon the beat drops and the band lays down a heavy downtempo groove. On the mic, Hamilton offers angst and inspiration.

"No one can hold me back, this is my life to lead"
"False Perspective"

“Lost” follows with a Nirvana-inspired four-chord grunge groove about trying to find a place in the world. A wall of power chords introduces the closer “Reconnect”. Soon the verse lands on a mellow alt-rock groove as the singer  delivers a call for humanity to pull together and abandon illusions.
