Vaporian’s New Retrowave Vibes

Vaporian is an emerging independent electronic recording artist from GreĆ„ker, Norway. He made his solo professional debut earlier this month with the video game-themed love song “Game Over”. That track introduced an eclectic composer and producer with a classic synth-powered sound.

Influenced by the rise of retro electronic genres like synthwave, 8-bit, chiptunes, and Italo-disco, Vaporian creates groovy 80s-inspired dance and pop tracks. He paints neon tapestries with drum machine beats and sequenced synth arpeggios. The prolific producer has already dropped his second release in as many weeks.

Neon Signs is the brand new EP from Vaporian, released worldwide via all major streaming services on April 29, 2024. The two-track set opens on the percussive upbeat title track. A pulsing electronic bass drives the tune as ethereal keys expand the soundscape. In the chorus. a female vocalist riffs dreamily on the song title.

“Cruisin” is a mellow mid-tempo groove with a cinematic vibe. Rhythmic synth melodies create a hypnotic vibe as ambient synths expand the soundscape. In the distance, electric guitar power chords add a bit of rock & roll to the recipe.
