Jake Brantley is an emerging independent recording artist who made his solo debut in 2022 with VoxlBlade (OST), an album of synthwave instrumentals. That record introduced a multi-talented songwriter and producer from Huntsville, Alabama. Although it was Jake’s first official release, it followed a long period of musical composition and experimentation.
Shortly after his debut, Jake Brantley caught the singing bug. He followed with a string of successful synth-pop releases. He has connected with fans around the world on popular tracks like last year’s indie-pop love song “Pomegranate Juice”.
“Coconut Water” is the brand new single from Jake Brantley, released worldwide via all major streaming services on January 18, 2023. Ambient retro synths open the track as the beat drops on an up-tempo indie-pop groove. Percussive arpeggios spin on the edges of the mix as the singer steps to the mic with a tale of breaking free from existential ennui and finding his Zen by embracing the unknown.
