Ben Wylie is an emerging independent recording artist who made his solo debut in 2022 with the single “Life Can’t Be Understood”. That track introduced a talented singer-songwriter with a soulful pop vibe. The singer followed in 2023 with the track “Call me up all day”.
Born and raised in South-East London, Ben Wylie grew up listening to a broad spectrum of artists and genres, from the psychedelic pop/rock of The Beatles to Michael Jackson’s reign as the King of Pop. However, early-2000s R&B is where his heart lies. Taking his queues from groundbreaking artists like Justin Timberlake and Ne-Yo, Ben blends modern pop and dance grooves with classic R&B vibes.
“Misery” is the brand new single from Ben Wylie, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 31, 2024. Ambient synths and percussive electronic arpeggios introduce the song on a dark pop vibe. The beat drops on an urgent and cinematic syncopated groove as Ben Wylie steps to the mic. He delivers a dramatic and soulful breakup song in a smooth R&B-infused high-tenor.
