Brian Barrett is an emerging independent recording artist and producer based in Louisville, Kentucky. He made his solo professional debut in 2022 with the single “Your Beginning”. That track introduced an eclectic post-rock composer who specializes in instrumental guitar loop moods.
A self-taught musician, Brian Barrett crafts his compositions in his home studio and plays all parts himself. Since his debut, the prolific bedroom producer has released a string of popular singles. He has connected with fans worldwide on tracks like “Deep Woods” and last year’s “Ambient Hop”.
“Imagine That” is the current single from Brian Barrett’s brand new compilation album, Loop Sessions: Part 1, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 29, 2024. The track opens on a solo electric guitar strumming a melodic chord progression over minimalist percussion. A soft reverb expands the soundscape as a lead guitar slides into the mix, improvising on a lilting and slightly Celtic melody.
