Sherayah’s Dreamy Alt-Folk/Pop Melancholy

Sherayah is an emerging independent alternative folk-pop artist who made her professional solo recording debut in April with the single “Blue Moon”. That track introduced a multi-talented singer-songwriter with a romantic and timeless organic sound. Though new on the scene, the California native is already building a buzz with fans of artists like Maggie Rogers & Kacey Musgraves.

Originally from Modesto and now based in Santa Ana, California, Sherayah has collaborated with high-profile producers like Justin Sinclair (Ilsey, Weezer,Scary Pockets) and Mark Batstone to bring her musical vision to life. Her sound combines a modern pop style with the great traditions of folk, country, and Americana. Within that framework, she weaves dreamy escape fantasies of love, hope, and longing.

“Where the Flowers Don’t Grow” is the brand new single from Sherayah, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 28, 2024. The track opens on an ethereal organic soundscape as Sherayah steps to the mic. She offers a melancholy allegory of perseverance through life’s droughts in a soft country soprano, as the band slides into the mix with a mellow Americana shuffle.
