Rafael Montecruz is a multi-talented international songwriter and multi-instrumentalist producer. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember him from previous singles like “Day (Song For My Valentine)” and “Tell Me Why“. Those tracks introduced a veteran recording artist and producer with a radio-ready sound, a taste for mellow grooves, and a passion for telling stories.
For many years Rafael Montecruz produced music only in Spanish. However, he recently launched a new project in which he has begun translating his most popular tracks to English, rearranging, mixing, and mastering them, and then re-releasing them as new singles to a brand new audience. The prolific producer has dropped three new singles so far in 2024, with more on the way.
“Day (Remix)” is the new single from Rafael Montecruz, available worldwide via all major streaming services. The track is a dance floor reinvention of his single “Day (Song For My Valentine)”. Deep Ambient synths introduce the track as guest vocalist Abraham Armell steps to the mic. He delivers a soulful and dreamy love song as the beat drops on a chilled tropical house vibe, setting the scene for a romantic and poetic love story.
