The Renee Plant Band is an independent rock & Americana group from Salt Lake City, Utah. They made their professional recording debut in 2014 with the album Real. That record introduced a quintet of veteran musicians with an authentic, organic Southwestern vibe.
Frontwoman Renee Plant is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter who traveled around the United States, from her Ohio home to Oklahoma, Arizona, and Oregon before settling in SLC just over ten years ago. She is a self-taught guitarist and classically trained pianist who began playing when she was just five years old.
“Tumble” is the current single and video from The Renee Plant Band’s latest album F.L.Y., available worldwide via all major streaming services. The track opens on a mellow mid-tempo Americana groove. Renee steps to the mic with a sweet and soulful torch song that ultimately builds to an inspirational anthem about overcoming obstacles and finding strength in vulnerability. The bridge takes a cool classic rock turn with a nice melodic instrumental break before a full choir joins in for the song’s gospel-infused outro.
