Huone 13 is the professional name of emerging recording artist and producer, Jason Doyle Ward. The Helsinki-based musician first launched the one-man band in the early 2000s with a series of independently released demos. However, other passions and musical projects eventually came to the forefront and Jason put his new electronic alter-ego into a long hibernation.
In June of this year Ward reintroduced Huone 13 to the world with the instrumental synthwave single “Video Games Saved My Life”. That track introduced a retro-electronic sound inspired by classic synthwave and Hollywood sci-fi soundtracks. His latest single takes that vibe into new sonic arenas, pairing that iconic synth-fueled sound with a modern production aesthetic.
“Fatale” is the brand new single from Huone 13, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 31, 2024. The track opens on a dark synthwave vibe as retro analog synths lay down an ominous groove. Deep ambient keys and syncopated breakbeat grooves color the mix as the song builds to a cinematic trip-hop scene.
