Cynthia is a legendary singer and rapper from Spanish Harlem in New York City. The prolific performer has been entertaining hip-hop and R&B fans for more than three decades. She has connected with millions on iconic hits like “Dreamboy/ DreamGirl”, “Change on Me”, and “Thief of Hearts”.
For her latest, the Freestyle Queen has teamed up with fellow New Yorker, Brownsville Brooklyn born and raised entrepreneur and artist, Dom G. The pair dropped their collaborative single/video “I’m a Legend” earlier this summer and the track quickly went viral. Fans from around the world and all walks of life posted their own videos with the hashtag #imalegend.
“I’m a Legend” is their brand new single, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 4, 2024. Cynthia opens the track with a solo R&B vibe in a cloud of ambient synths. Then the beat drops on a Latin-infused hip-hop groove. Horns blasts and syncopated percussive elements ride a chilled funk bass line as the two singers take turns rapping and singing on this smooth summer anthem.
