We first heard from Chris Benis back in 2021 upon the release of his EP The Notion. That record introduced The Static Dive readers to a multi-talented singer, songwriter and actor based in Los Angeles, California. Although still in his 20s, Chris is already a music industry veteran who made his solo debut in 2018.
Before launching his recording career, as The Benis Brothers Band, Chris Benis and his brothers spent 5 years of playing elementary schools, private parties, and music recitals in and around their hometown of Seattle, Washington. Although originally inspired by his musical family, the young musician soon found his own passion in songwriting. His sound is inspired by iconic pop & rock artists like The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and the Doors.
“Night of a Lifetime” is the brand new single from Chris Benis, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 10, 2024. The song opens on a solo acoustic guitar as the singer steps to the mic. In a smooth pop tenor he delivers a heartbreaker of a torch song as the beat lands on a mellow shuffle and strings expand the soundscape. The song was recorded with all live instruments at Earwig Studios in Seattle, WA.
