We first heard from Heidi Elgaard in April of the year, upon the release of her single “Fly Away Now”. That track introduced an award-winning independent singer-songwriter who is making a comeback after a years-long self-imposed hiatus. Based in Northern California, Heidi works with artists and producers around the world to bring her music to life.
Heidi Elgaard launched her career in San Francisco as a solo artist in the 1990s. She collaborated with the likes of The Counting Crows and The Tubes before releasing her 1996 debut LP The Hazy Blue Project. Shortly after its release the singer put solo career on hold for a while to raise her family. Now she’s back.
“Twin Flame” is the brand new single from Heidi Elgaard, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 15. A solo piano opens the song as the singer leans into the mic. She offers a romantic ballad about the new-age phenomenon of twin flames aa orchestral strings, timpani drums, and an arena-ready guitar enter the mix, building the track to an epic cinematic anthem. According to new-age spirituality, twin flames are two people born of the same soul.
