In May, Father Goose Music and his son iRiE GooSe released the single “Still“. On that track, the versatile producer takes a break from island vibes to tackle serious societal issues with a downtempo genre-bending hip-hop lament. The song looks hard at a society plagued by deep-rooted discrimination, where generations have endured systemic injustices without meaningful change.
iRiE GooSe is an emerging independent recording artist who made his professional solo recording debut in 2019. However, the young musician’s creative journey began years earlier. As the son of Grammy-winning artist and producer Wayne Rhoden (aka Father Goose), iRiE has been making music his entire life. In July, father and son were joined by rapper Etcetera and multi-instrumentalist Vic Rosario for the brand new remix, “Still No Changes”.
Etcetera is a multi-talented recording artist, songwriter, and producer who has released two solo albums; Character (2105) and Sagittarius (2024). Vic Rosario plays guitar and bass on the track. He is a Grammy-winning/nominated guitarist, songwriter, and producer who has worked with legends like Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, B.B. King and many more. He and his company V3 Music Productions are frequent Father Goose Music collaborators.
“Still No Changes” is the new single from iRiE GooSe, featuring Father Goose Music, Etcetera, and Vic Rosario, available worldwide via all major streaming services. The remix builds on the cinematic and tragic story of a society in desperate need of change. With the new mix, the artists reinforce the notion that evolution requires cooperation.
