Oktavvia is an emerging independent singer-songwriter making her solo recording debut in 2024. Born in Poland, growing up she split her time between Europe and Canada. She spent her early years singing, dancing, and acting in independent films directed by her cousin, filmmaker Tom Antos.
Now based in Toronto, Oktavvia recently connected with a team of producers who helped her craft a distinctive new sound. Built on elements of pop and world music, the international singer leans-in to her multicultural roots. Her debut single is a showcase for her inspiring message and catchy melodies.
“Funny” is the brand new single and video from Oktavvia, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 30, 2024. The track opens on an electro-pop vibe as the singer steps to the mic. Soon the beat drops on a modern bossa nova groove. Syncopated percussion and brass paint the edges of the mix as the singer offers a fun and funky love song with an infectious pop hook.
