After studying guitar, bass, and voice she spent years performing in a series of bands around her hometown’s legendary music scene.
Since introducing her unique retro dark wave vibe, Allie Frost has connected with fans around the world. She has performed music festivals throughout North America including The Unconvention (NJ), Dark Spring Boston Festival (Cambridge MA), and Terminus Festival (Calgary, Alberta Canada). She is a talented engineer and producer who regularly works in the studio with her equally skilled husband Daniel Belasco of the band Glass Apple Bonzai.
“Reveries Pine” is the brand new single from Allie Frost, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 29, 2024. The track opens on a dark midtempo minor-key groove. A live bass guitar rides an old-school drum machine beat as deep minor-key synths and haunting vocal harmonies paint the periphery. On the mic, Allie meets that mood with a dreamy and poetic tale told in a Siouxsie-esque soprano.
