Hello Clarice is an emerging independent alt-country/rock duo who made their professional recording debut in 2019 with the EP Longshot. That record introduced the west coast songwriting team of Jonah Michea Judy and Andy Amsden. The pair returned to the studio in 2024 and have released a string of new tracks.
Upon returning to the streaming world in January, Hello Clarice dropped their most popular song to date, “Coiled in the Shade”. They followed that melancholy acoustic-leaning ballad with a double-single in September. Together, the new songs continue the band’s exploration and expansion of that gray area between rock and country.
“Take Me Home to Carolina” is the latest single from Hello Clarice, released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 5, 2024. Acoustic and electric guitars weave a dark Americana tapestry over a downtempo alt-rock beat as the singer steps to the mic. Joined by a haunting low-harmony backing vocal, he delivers a powerful tale of fate and regret. As the track progresses into an epic grunge-fueled anthem.
