Verón is the professional name of multi-talented, multi-disciplinary artist Alex Mendes. He made his recording debut in 2021 with the single “Voulez-vous”. Growing up in an artistic family from Fontainebleau, France, he began his creative journey at a young age.
When he was just five years old, Alex lost his uncle, who was himself an artist. Ever since, the young creator has devoted his life to the arts. After an early interest in film, he eventually realized music is his true calling.
“Amar puede Matar” is the brand new single from Verón, released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 27, 2024. A dreamy electric piano opens the track on a haunting vibe. The singer steps to the mic as the beat lands on a trap-infused downtempo dark pop vibe. Singing in both Spanish and French, he delivers a heartbreaking tale of love and betrayal.
