Kyle Davis is an independent songwriter and recording artist from Prince George, Virginia. The veteran tunesmith recently returned to the national stage in 2019 after an extended hiatus. In September he dropped the first single from his forthcoming album Jericho, the second since his return.
Back in the 1990s, Kyle Davis launched a now decades-long partnership with legendary college music producer Don Dixon (REM, The Smithereens, Hootie & the Blowfish). He signed a deal with Phil Ramone, recorded a string of records, and toured the world. He returned in 2019 after taking more than a decade off to focus on family.
“The Last Line” is the brand new single from Kyle Davis, released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 27, 2024. The track opens on an infectious 90s alternative vibe. Electric and acoustic guitars ride a mellow and melancholy mid-tempo groove as the singer steps to the mic. Ethereal ambient keys paint the periphery as he delivers a soulful examination of life’s struggles and the search for meaning
