Faithful Tragedy is an emerging independent prog-rock band from Delhi, India. The group is the brainchild of the multi-talented singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist producer known simply as R.o.Y. The cryptic creator debuted his brand of sonic psychedelia in 2021 with the hypnotic seven minute dream “Monochromatic-Lullaby”.
Since then, the prolific producer has released a string of successful singles and EPs as Faithful Tragedy. Working mostly solo but also occasionally with a revolving roster of collaborators, he has connected with hundreds of thousands of progressive and indie rock fans around the world on popular tracks like the January single “Living Miserably”. Last year’s “Unwrite” currently has over 950K streams on Spotify.
“Miss You” is the current single from Faithful Tragedy’s latest EP Winters, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 15, 2024. Acoustic arpeggios and ambient synths introduce the track as R.o.Y leans into the mic. Strings, keys, and percussion expand the soundscape as the singer delivers his esoteric and psychedelic torch-song.
