Sound Siren is a new modern rock band from Burbank, California. Founded by lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter Chris Poulson. Prior to launching the band, Chris was the drummer in the acclaimed SoCal rock/pop band Rock Kills Kid (Fearless Records). For his new venture, he recruited the talents of Aaron Bolaño (lead guitar), Lucas Caputo (guitar and backup vocals), Alex Grossfeld (bass), and Jeff Samataro (drums).
The band debuted in September 2024 with the song “The Other Guy.” Since then they have connected with fans around the world with a string of popular singles. They have a sound that harkens back to the heyday of emo-fueled, pop-infused, alt-rock. There is sure to be more on the way with producer Taylor Carroll of LIT behind the board on their forthcoming debut LP.
“Parasite” is a new single from Sound Siren, available worldwide via all major streaming services. The track opens on a classic pop-rock guitar riff as the band lands on a midtempo alt-rock groove. The singer steps to the mic and with an open letter to the other half of his dysfunctional and unbalanced relationship. It’s a perfect radio-ready jam for fans of guitar-driven power-pop.
