House of Static at the Grammys
This week finds me fresh off the plane from the Grammy Award ceremony at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. It was a fabulous weekend. Any time spent with my House of Static brother Kilo House, is time spent well.
The event itself is a completely unique experience. Imagine going to a concert in which 25% of the audience is some version of famous. However, no one wears a name tag. It was a day of, “is that so-and-so?” and “she looks like”.
All day long I was bumping into, sharing elevators, and making small talk with people who looked like rock stars and movie stars. Some were, though I have no idea which ones. I also got to see friends like Charu Suri and Kirsten Agresta Copely announced as Grammy nominees!
Check out this video montage/photo dump of the day.
Now back on the cold and snowy East Coast, I have new blog stuff and music to share.

Deep Dive : Pop & Rock
teenatown – bet on it
What they say: “teenatown is a self-produced indie pop-rock artist redefining queer empowerment through sound. With a raw, electric blend of vulnerability and grit, this unapologetically lesbian songwriter channels both edge and elegance, offering music that resonates far beyond the margins.”
What we say: Great singer, catchy melody, and authentic, relatable lyrics
Archi Deep
Everybody Thinks That I’m Alive
What they say: “Hailing from the French island of Oléron on the Atlantic coast, the duo ARCHI DEEP crafts heartfelt music that aims to push the boundaries of their world. Their approach is intentionally
stripped-back: a commanding voice, a searing guitar, and drums beating with the pulse of life. Arthur and Hortense constantly push forward, composing with increasing ambition while drawing inspiration from American bands such as The Black Keys and The White Stripes.”
What we say: Wild, raw, and fun rocker that just gets better as it progresses.
Deep Dive : Hip-Hop and R&B
Creepzz X Jordan Grace Feat Kosi Sia – Take Me Back
What they say: “Big love to everyone supporting the journey, let’s keep this one growing. Afrobeats x Rap vibes, real emotions, real collaborations. If you love new independent music, this one’s for you.”
What we say: great bars, soul, and a killer Afrobeats groove.
Deep Dive : Electronic
WEIRD SCARS
Fallen & Cursed
What they say:
“A witch house track with a cold atmosphere, distorted textures, and slowly building tension. Fallen & Cursed explores themes of inner collapse, guilt, and irreversible transformation. Minimal structure, heavy low-end, and dark melodic layers. Influenced by akiaura, LONOWN, and Sidewalks and Skeletons.”
What we say: Cool, dark, and brooding electronic that will take you some places.
