A couple weeks ago I launched In the Studio with The Static Dive, a new blog on which I take readers behind the scenes in the music production process as I write and record my new album.
The blog was inspired by a series of shorts which I continue to produce on my YouTube channel. It started as an experiment to see if I could write one minute songs tailored for YouTube shorts.
The experiment has gone better than expected. Many of the short tunes written for the channel are already developing into full album tracks. Check them out in their infancy below, along with other video transmissions from the studio.
