Richard Lynch and Leona Williams Head To The Honky Tonk

Richard Lynch

Richard Lynch’s new single “Another Honky Tonk Song” is a love song to Country music. And it is a big ole “thank you” to the music’s historic home, the honky tonk bar.

Lynch has a lot to be thankful for. The Ohio-based singer/songwriter has enjoyed significant success in the world of Country music. He is no stranger to the charts, reaching all over both the mainstream and indie music business reports. He is a member of The Independent Country Music Hall of Fame, has been on national TV, in Billboard magazine, and even hosts his own Country music radio and television show.

On his new single, Lynch is joined by Country music legend, Leona Williams. Williams has enjoyed a sixty year career in music. In that time she has worked with the biggest names ever to grace the stage of The Grand Ole Opry, including Loretta Lynn and Merle Haggard (to whom she was once married). Additionally, she has recorded countless chart topping albums and singles of her own.

With all of this star power, “Another Honky Tonk Song” is guaranteed to make Country fans smile. The performance and production are impeccable, with Hall of Fame quality execution throughout. For instance, I love a well played lap steel guitar. There is no shortage here, with a perfect slide and twang at its heart of the track. Vocally, Lynch and Leona deliver a fun and heartfelt toe-tapper with the skill and easy style we expect from experts of their caliber.
