Kuró Is Getting Paid On The New Single “Check”

Kuró is an aspiring Hip-hop artist who has been creating music for two years but made his debut in 2020. Over the past few months the artist has released a series of singles on SoundCloud and YouTube. He first arrived on the scene five months ago with the song, “Mixtape.” Since then he’s dropped three more singles, working with different producers his tracks range from mellow Trap grooves to rapid-fire chopping Hip-hop. Among his influences the emcee lists; Lil Wayne, XXXTentacion, Future, Young Thug

“Check” is the latest track from Kuró, released on January 20, 2021. The song is a Hip-hop ode to the paycheck. Or as the artist explains, “It’s about getting money.” With a beat produced by Sinato, the track was mixed, written and performed by Kuró. The tune opens with a groovy flute sample in the intro. In short order a Trap beat with Latin flavor and EDM bass tones drops and the rapper is off. Over the course of the 2:05 the rapper delivers a rapid-fire accounting of everything he’s going to do now that he’s got his check. It’s a cool groove and he has a unique and creative style.
