We first hear from Lizzie Astorga in January of this year upon the release of her single “Take a Look.” That song introduced us to a gifted young singer and songwriter whose talent is matched only by the her positive energy. Since childhood, the multi-instrumentalist 23 year-old has been entertaining audiences in Mexico and the United States with her uplifting vibes, expert musicianship and beautiful vocals.
For years, Lizzie has been performing almost incessantly. Her usual routine used to include up to six gigs per week. Of course, as has been the case for musicians around the world, that schedule came to a grinding halt in 2020. Undaunted, the singer put her creative energies into writing and recording new music. In addition to the music she regularly performs on her active social media profiles, she has released three new songs over the past year.
“Regresaras” is the latest single from Lizzie Astorga, released worldwide to all major streaming services on February 26, 2021. The emotional love story is the first Spanish language release from the singer. The song is a beautiful piano and acoustic guitar ballad. Lizzie’s angelic voice delivers the heartfelt narrative as a lush string arrangement gradually enters the mix to bring the song to a rich cinematic conclusion.
