Aricka J is an independent singer and songwriter who made her way cross country to follow her dreams. Performing since childhood, she eventually realized she needed to take it to the next level. So when the Boston native decided to pursue a career in music, she packed up her belongings and moved to sunny California to be in the heart of the action.
She made her professional debut in 2012 with the funky R&B/Pop track “Good Girl Gone Bad.” She followed in 2013 with the Hip-hop-fueled “Superman.” The songs showcased a talented singer and songwriter with enough fire to tell it like it is. Now, after an extended hiatus. The Los Angeles based singer is diving back into the game with brand new music for a new year.

A smooth dance groove with strong Latin and Caribbean vibes sets the scene as Aricka J calls out a controlling and unworthy man. He’s used up his last chance as she sings, “Time’s up. Boy you better man up.” She delivers the ultimatum with a cool laid back style that plays perfectly against the chill Island vibe.
