FL Moe is an emerging Emo Rap artist from Joliet, a city just outside of Chicago, Illinois. We first heard from him in December upon the release of his single “No More.” Since dropping his debut “Let You Go” in 2020, the rapper has already amassed an impressive catalog with eight singles and more on the way. He has made an impact on tens of thousands of fans worldwide.
A lifelong avid music fan, FL Moe began writing his own material in 2018. Music proved a great stress reliever for the young artist and a motivator to continually improve himself. Citing JuiceWrld as a primary influence, he mixes Hip-hop beats and rap tropes with lyrical themes and instrumentals commonly found in Emo music.
“Wish I Didn’t” is the latest single from FL Moe, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 21, 2021. The track finds Moe calling out his Ex for a myriad of faults and deceits. The subject matter is on brand for an artist whose name is an acronym for “F**k Love Money Over Everything.” In a monologue that is often funny, definitely bitter and occasionally angry he riffs on the theme ,”I told you I love you, but I wish I didn’t.” The track rolls on a midtempo Trap beat with some deep 808 bass hits and a smooth, Jazzy electric piano.
