Dyno Project is the new multi-genre collaborative musical endeavor from Boston-based composer and producer, Bob (Dyno) DiNozzi. The multi-instrumentalist musician launched the project in April of 2021 with the release of their debut single “Dyno’s Gumbo.” With that track, Dinozzi introduced a Jazz-infused retro sound that mixed smooth Funk guitar and bass with 70’s style horns and a touch of Latin percussion. The contemplative piano crooner “The Sum of My Days” followed a few weeks later.
Bob DiNozzi is back with a brand new smooth Jazz blast from the past. “Consolation” is the latest single from Dyno Project, released worldwide to all major streaming services on June 25, 2021. The track is a bluesy Jazz instrumental. Saxophonist Bobby Tynes takes the lead with a soulful performance and a melancholy tone. On the drums is Mark Teixeira, best known playing the skins in legendary Blues guitarist Duke Robillard’s band. Dyno takes care of everything else (piano, organ, bass, percussion) on this smooth, cinematic and emotional instrumental.
I am thrilled to have the expertise of both Bobby Tynes and Mark Teixeira on this track.
