Zinga’s Passionate New Bachata Vibe

zinga

We first heard from Zinga in May of this year, upon the release of his single and video “Dance With Me (Baila Asi Remix).” That song introduced us to Shayan Ali, the Chicago-based international recording artist with deep roots in the music industry.  Shafaat Ali is Shayan’s father, a pioneer of pop music in the family’s native Bangladesh. He first performed as Zinga in 1963 and continued for decades before passing the baton to his son.

Shayan Ali made his professional recording debut as Zinga in early in 2021. The prolific artist has hit the ground running with five singles released to date. Listeners are responding. His songs have reached fans worldwide with each track pulling in bigger audiences. His latest is poised to continue that trend.

“My Heart” is the brand new single and video from Zinga, released worldwide to all major streaming services on July 7, 2021. The song is a hypnotic Bachata dance duet sung in both English and Spanish by Ali and Venezuelan singer Arianny. Produced by Richie Sanchez of Mexico, the song opens on a melancholy ballad but quickly transforms into a Latin Dance groove. Spanish guitars, Caribbean rhythms and lush strings set the perfect mood for the romantic duet and its super-steamy accompanying visuals.

The Jonathan Guttman-directed music video was shot in Canary Island, Spain with World Champion Bachata dancers Vero and Airam. Check it out below. You can also hear the song “My Heart” on the Deep Indie Dance playlist. Follow the links below to connect with Zinga.
