Jeremy Arnold is an electronic music producer and DJ who has enjoyed more than a decade of dance floor hits. As a teenager in Strasbourg, France he taught himself the ins and outs of songwriting by making beats in his bedroom studio. Soon he was spinning discs at local nightclubs and parties. His big break came in 2011 when he composed the international hit song “Mamasita.” The hits kept coming, including collaborations with the likes of Venezuelan singer Ella Loponte.
In 2021 Jeremy Arnold Launched a new series of collaborations with vocalists from around the world, including a number of artists from the United States. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember him from songs like the Deep House jam “Just for Loving” and the soulful Pop ballad “Let it Go.” With each new song he explores a different avenue of electronic dance music.
“Jumping Up and Down” is the latest single from Jeremy Arnold, released worldwide to all major streaming services on September 16, 2021. A minimalist beat and a slow build of vocals and keys introduce the track. After the first drop we are off on a classic House groove. A four on the floor beat and bouncing electronic piano chords drive the track as a male vocalist convinces his partner to join him on the dance floor. Ambient synths expand the horizon as distant strings lend a Disco feel to the sound. It is a great jam, built for the club.
