Patricia Wilde is an independent singer/songwriter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A classically trained guitarist, the talented young musician began writing her own music at a very early age. She released her first recordings of originals and covers to Bandcamp a few years ago when she was just 18 years-old.

With a style that keeps one foot in the classic 90s Alternative singer/songwriter world and the other rooted in modern Indie Pop, she creates a sound that is both unique yet immediately recognizable.

Rolling on a laid-back guitar, bass and drum groove, the song is a mellow bit of Lo-Fi Dream Pop. Patricia strums her guitar and sings a wistful relationship post-mortem, accompanied by ethereal vocal harmonies. The sing-song melody and dreamy vibe give the track a timeless quality. If Mazzy Star were to sing a Pop song in 2021, it may sound something like “Holding Onto Water.”
