PsychCloned Drops Some Seasonal Sizzle

PsychCloned Drops Some Seasonal Sizzle 1

PsychCloned returns with a bit of a wintry instrumental sizzle. Regular readers of The Static Dive are well acquainted with the talented and prolific composer. Known to friends and family as Gabriel Pureco, the North Carolina musician has produced a remarkable library of music in a relatively short period of time.

Since early 2020, PsychCloned has released four full length albums; ‘Melodrama,’ ‘Tumultuous,’ ‘Sakura’ and ‘Showtime.’ Additionally he has produced an EP and three singles. With each new release the adventurous artist expands the scope of his grand, cinematic sound.

“Hiemal Heat” is the latest single from PsychCloned, released worldwide to all major streaming services on November 19, 2021. A concert piano opens the track with orchestral string accompaniment to create a familiar and inviting holiday scene. However, in true PsychCloned fashion the piece soon takes a dramatic turn.

Pureco cranks up the temperature with a mix of electronic and live percussion and the song transforms into a syncopated rhythmic Jazz improvisation. The jam builds to climax and then returns us to the melodic classical arrangement of the intro. The track comes to a close on an emotional high with a maelstrom of strings and steel drums.
