Kenajee is the professional name of rapper, singer and songwriter Kevon Najee Turner. The 21 year-old independent Hip-hop artist from Stratford, CT first started making music 7 years ago. He made his professional solo recording debut in 2020 with the album “Anita.”
Since dropping that first, the prolific rapper has produced two full length records, an EP and a half dozen singles. He cites poetry, the Bible and fellow artists like Brent faiyaz, Lucki, and Sales as inspiration. However, he is definitely carving his niche in the business.
I don’t want to be compared to any other artist nor to be seen as a role model cuz I got my own things I’m going through in life. But definitely I want my music to impact others.
