We first heard from WNTR PPPR (Pronounced “Winter Pepper”) in December of 2021 upon the release of his single “Good Man.” That track introduced readers of The Static Dive to Presley Miller. He is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Grapevine, Texas with a soulful Lo-fi Indie Pop vibe.
Presley finds inspiration in the Classic and Alternative Rock of his heroes. A lifelong musician, he launched the WNTR PPPR project last year with the debut album “For My Family.” As suggested by the title, the record was a collection of songs about his wife and children. For his latest single, Miller turned his attention to one family member in particular.
“So Sweet is the latest single from WNTR PPPR, released worldwide to all major streaming services on January 31, 2022. The short and catchy tune rides on a funky acoustic guitar, bass and drum groove while Presley sings a sweet dedication to the family’s dog Miki who recently passed away. The song is a very cute tribute to a beloved companion.
Miki was definitely a sweet girl, but she was also a troublemaker who insisted on having things her way, and was clever enough to ensure that was always the case.
