“So Relentless” is the brand new single born of a new collaboration between renowned Dance music producer Michael M and EDM group CAN2. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember Michael M’s name from his work with artists like Miami-based vocalist Droze. The sisterly songwriting duo CAN2 works with artists around the world as collaborators and producers.
Composed and produced by Michael M and award-winning producer Giuseppe D, “So Relentless” was released worldwide to all major streaming services on January 21, 2022. The team describes the track as a “campy bop” about meeting someone who seems great at first but ends up turning into a nightmare. The track is a great mix of classic Alternative, modern Indie Rock and a touch of Synthwave.

Sita (CAN2)
A funky Lo-fi bass line rides a simple beat as Michael M and Sita enter the mix with a dual lead vocal. They paint a picture of an obsessive admirer/stalker who won’t take no for an answer. It’s a fun and quirky groove that brings to mind some of the early work of the Talking Heads. Throughout the track, the sound teeters back and forth between Indie Rock and EDM, creating a cool contrast between a bit of nervous energy and a party vibe.
