Fake Estate is an EDM songwriting and production team from Tampa, Florida. Since their debut two years ago the group has released a string of Deep House hits. They have connected with fans around the world with tracks like last year’s “Back Into Your Arms” and 2020’s “Already Lost.”
In February of this year, on these pages Fake Estate announced the forthcoming release of a song that has been in the making since the group first got together. Why the delay? Because the world wasn’t ready for what they had planned. They felt that the Pop music scene of 2020 wasn’t prepared for “Mile Away”.
“Mike Away” is the brand new single from Fake Estate, released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 15, 2022. The song is an ode to impressive volume and circumference of one band member’s wife’s posterior. The group builds their unique Deep House vibe around the central lyrical theme and hook, “I can see your booty from a mile away.” It is banging track, and a lot of fun.

Where are you from?
Tampa, Florida.
How long have you been making music?
10+ years.
Who are the musicians involved in your project?
Fake Estate; a musical group from the farthest depths of Deep House who intend on blurring the line between dancy deep house music and emotional, exciting pop music.
Who are your biggest musical influences?
For Mile Away, we took notes from some of the biggest DJ’s in the word including Regard, Tiesto, and others.
What is your greatest non-musical influence?
Heaven, the loyal golden-doodle companion. A dog can be the greatest teacher.
What inspired you to create this project?
The succulent booty of one of Fake Estate’s member’s wife. You can literally see it from a Mile Away.
What are your plans for the future (musically)?
We are going to change the face of Deep House. We plan to completely rip open the world that is deep house and help introduce it to mainstream listeners by producing thrilling and emotional up-beat dance music.
