We first heard from The Antenna Tribe in April upon the release of their single “Two Hearts.” The track introduced readers of The Static Dive to a new LA-based collaborative creative project. At the helm is an artist who, after much pandemic inspired self-reflection, shifted his professional focus away from the medical industry and toward music production.
The Antenna Tribe made their debut in 2021 with the single “Gold Mine.” Over the past year the prolific producer has released a half dozen singles as well as the five song EP “Quiet Place.” The sound is an ethereal mix of Dark Pop moods, Trip-hop grooves and Dream Pop atmospheres. Vocalists from around the world are recruited to create the group’s distinctly dreamy vibe.
“Be There” is the brand new single from The Antenna Tribe, released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 29, 2022. Once again the producer has teamed up with “Two Hearts” vocalist, Silke. Through the verse, the UK singer sings a romantic escape fantasy over a mellow percussive groove. Ambient synths stretch across the horizon. A pulsing electronic bass beats softly at the heart of the chorus as vocal harmonies create layers within layers of sound.
